We suggest making an appointment as we cannot guaranty that you’ll be able to see the doctor without one. This is because we prioritise those with appointments over walk-ins. So, for you to not waste your time and plan your day better, booking an appointment is the best course of action.
Medical certificates can be provided by a doctor, following a consultation. Please note that medical certificates cannot be backdated. So, please make sure you consult early in your illness if you need a medical certificate.
If you’re looking to have your medical records transferred, please get in touch with our reception team and they’ll be able to guide you on how to get it done.
You will need a referral from a GP to see a specialist. So, please make an appointment with a GP to get a referral first and your GP will assist you.
At Narooma Medical Centre, your medical records will be kept completely secure. We follow the AMA code of Ethics regarding Privacy and Confidentiality. So, your personal and medical information are safe with us.
Test results will only be disclosed to the patient. Our reception team will advise you on whether your results are available. Once the results are available, you will typically be required to make a follow up appointment with the Doctor to receive the results.
Please give us a call to see if we can offer you a same-day appointment. If your matter is urgent, be sure to mention it to the receptionist and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Please note that we cannot guaranty a same-day appointment. It will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
